Foam Separator
The fundafom® destroys foam mechanically where it forms: inside the reactor itself. A rotating disc stack breaks up the foam, the gas leaves drop-free to the exhaust nozzle, the liquid returns to the reactor.

01·How it works
Destroying foam where it forms.
A disc stack with baffles rotates in the head space of the reactor. Rising foam is broken up and separated by centrifugal force: the gas through the hollow shaft to the exhaust nozzle, the liquid back into the reactor.

- The liquid phase is thrown back into the reactor
- Chemical antifoam agents become largely unnecessary
- Lower surface tension, higher oxygen transfer rate
- Considerably higher usable reactor volume
- Sterile version with double glide-ring seal and pressure overlay
